New Philadelphia, OH One killed, 3 injured in A Fatal Crash Crash On Stonecreek Road
York Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio — The community is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Dalton J. Miller, 24, who was killed on Monday, April 6, 2026, in a two-vehicle collision on Stonecreek Road.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Miller’s vehicle, a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis, crossed left of center and collided head-on with a 2012 Toyota Highlander driven by Alyssa Maculaitis, who was traveling north with her 2-year-old son. Despite the emergency response, Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office.
Passenger Emily A. Harford, 21, was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital for treatment, while Maculaitis and her son received medical attention and were released. Authorities confirmed all involved were properly restrained at the time of the crash.
Friends and family remember Dalton as a young man full of promise, whose life, though tragically cut short, left a lasting impact on those around him. Funeral arrangements and memorial services will be announced by his family in the coming days.
